When you request a quote, book a consultation or contact us through a form on this site, we collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, that may include your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, whether the project is for a home or a business, your business name and role, your approximate monthly electric bill, and anything you write in a message field.

We ask for this so we can respond to your request, size a system for your property and prepare a proposal. We do not require you to provide it, but we cannot prepare an assessment without a way to reach you.

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising.

Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited, how far people scroll, and which forms get started and completed. It also records the source that brought you here.

Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel let us measure which ads lead to enquiries. When you submit a form, your email address and phone number are converted into an irreversible hashed value in your browser before being sent to these services — they do not receive your email or phone number in readable form.

These services set their own cookies and may combine what they learn here with information they already hold about you.

We use what we collect to respond to your enquiry, prepare and deliver proposals, provide and service systems we install, keep records of our work, and measure how well our advertising performs.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers who operate this site and our business systems — our website and database host, and Zoho CRM, where enquiries are managed. They may process your information only to provide those services to us.

Advertising and analytics providers — Google and Meta, as described above.

Subcontractors and equipment partners, where a specific project requires it.

Anyone we are legally required to share with — for example in response to lawful process.

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep proper business records, and longer where a warranty, contract or legal obligation requires it.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email justin@lumis-energy.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and adjust ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies, though parts of the site may stop working correctly if you do.

If you submitted an enquiry and no longer want to be contacted, tell us and we will stop.

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
